Industrial Inkjet Services
Applications
M-Solv engineering generally work in the field of industrial inkjet for applications which are not graphic arts. Using similar technnology to graphic arts our systems are designed to meet more demanding requirements for drop placement accuracy and repeatability for pixel printing applications.
The MSV 25xxi is a modularised motion control system which is integrated with industrial inkjet components to examine bespoke applications in thin film and plastic electronics. The chemical nature of the electronic material dictates the inkjet printhead technology which best serves the application. M-Solv develop motion control solutions and work with industrial inkjet process developers to handle chemical material evaluation.
The integration process examines several aspects to the process particularly pertaining to the speed and process rates, or TAKT time. Substrate size, the flatness and handling during loading and unloading are initially considered closely with the quality of fluid deposition and placement accuracy.
Weather it is pixel printing or 2D/3D image generation the software and electronics supports both vector driven and Raster Image Processing (RIP) scanning motion control solutions. Typical examples of system modules which are examined during assesment include:
- Contract Services
- Project definition and specification
- Process Assessment
- Head module design configuration
- Mechanical assembly
- Print engines
- Rasterised Image Processing
- Vector Write motion control
- Head technologies - Drop on Demand, Continuous Ink Jet, Valve and Micro Pump technologies
- Fluid path and delivery systems
- Drop placement accuracy
- Repeatability
- Reliability
- 100% inspection
